Chocolate Stunts

The classic driving game, Brøderbund Stunts 1.1, playable in your browser.

Your game files and saves stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Setup instructions

You need your own Stunts (Brøderbund 1.1) game files to play. Click Choose game folder and select the folder containing those files on your device, then click Start game.

You can play directly from a website. Saving a copy of this page is optional. For offline play, save the HTML file anywhere on your device and open it in your browser. In either case, select the folder containing your game files.

Where supported, your browser remembers the folder and may ask you to allow access again next time. Otherwise, select it each time. Your game files and saves remain on your device, even when you play from a website.

Preparing game…

Click the game to focus the keyboard. Use the arrow keys to drive and Esc to return to menus. Your browser may reserve some function keys. Press Alt+Enter or click Fullscreen for a larger view.

Quick rewind

Hold Q

Rewind while driving; release to continue from that point. The run no longer qualifies for normal high scores.

HyperVision

F11 or Shift+F11

Show / hide FPS and render time. Use Shift+F11 to avoid the browser fullscreen shortcut.

F12

Toggle HyperVision Auto / Off.

Shift+F12

Enable and cycle fixed quality: Full → High → Medium → Low.

Ctrl+F12

Save a PNG screenshot to your game folder, or download it with read-only folder access.

Pause, menus, and sound

Shift+F10

Switch between New MIDI and original AdLib music during the intro, menus, and race-end screens.

Ctrl+M

Toggle music.

Ctrl+S

Toggle sound effects.

P

Pause the game.

Esc

Leave the race / return to menus.

Dashboard and opponent

D

Show / hide the dashboard.

T

Switch between your car and the opponent or ghost.

Cameras

F1

Cockpit view.

F2

Follow view.

F3

Adjustable view. Press again to cycle close, normal, and far chase views, then return to the original view. Chase views hide the dashboard; leaving them restores the original position and dashboard visibility.

F4

Trackside view.

C

Cycle cameras while driving or playing a replay.

Ctrl + arrows

Rotate the adjustable F3 camera in replay.

+ / −

Zoom the F3 view in / out in replay; adjust camera height in F4.

Replay

R

Show / hide the replay controls.

Arrow keys

Select a replay toolbar button.

Enter or Space

Activate the selected button: play, fast play, pause, rewind, fast forward, restart, or menu.

Esc

Open the replay menu.

Track editor

Arrow keys

Move the track or palette selection.

Enter

Place the selected tile or activate a palette button.

Space or Insert

Switch between track and palette.

F1–F10

Select a palette page.

+ / −

Next / previous palette page.

Shift+F1

Select the terrain palette.

C

Check the track route.

Home

On the track, move to the top-left; press again to go to the track origin.
